Carver High School of Engineering and Science, Philadelphia, PA
Through the dynamic Charrette design process, schematic designs were developed over a week of workshops with the design professionals and school community. M&M's cultural landscape report revealed that Turner Lane once crossed the high school site to link major roads in Philadelphia. The joint design teams developed designs that created a new Turner Lane Main Street between the existing building and the new addition, Using a curriculum design based process to achieve LEED certification, site designs included pervious paving, vegetated filtration strips, a green roof, current PWD regulations, and FPC approved planting.
