Avenue of the Arts

Philadelphia's major north-south avenue was renamed Avenue of the Arts south of City Hall in part to recognize the major cultural institutions that lined this part of Broad Street. In coordination with this, major site improvements included sidewalks, site furnishings, signage and plantings. Menke & Menke provided landscape architectural hard and softscape services to the design team, as well as construction observation.
